Dale Robert Barkley, age 66, of Marion, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home.
Dale was born in Kenton, Ohio on July 14, 1948.
He graduated from Harding School in 1966 and later joined the US Army. He served his county in Panama and Korea.
Dale was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was an avid golfer and photographer. He was also a fish and aquarium hobbyist.
Dale is survived by his sons, Drew Barkley of Marion and Dustin Barkley; daughters, Michelle (Dan) Dew of Benton Harbor, MI and Devin Barkley of Elizabethtown, KY; sister, July Creasap of Marion; a niece and nephew, great nieces, a great nephew; and family friend John.
He is preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Caroline Barkley and sons, Michael and Kevin.
Per Dale’s request, no viewing or funeral services will be observed.
