Marie Zornes Smith Schmalz, age 98, of Marion died Sunday July 27, 2014 at Marion Point.
She was born in Vanceburg, KY to the late Edward and Stella (Russell) Zorns on October 1, 1915.
She was preceded in death by husbands Cooney Smith and Anthony “Andy” Schmalz.
Marie enjoyed Bingo, crafts and always made time to gamble.
She is survived by children, Irene (Jim) White of Marion and Esther Gilbert of Richwood, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 one brother, 2 sisters, 5 children.
Burial will be held at Little Sandusky Cemetery at a later date.
