Rodney E. Beechum Sr., age 73 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born August 4, 1940 in Marion, Ohio to the late William and Arlene (Blankinship) Babcock.
Rodney was a U.S. Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corp., and was a former member of the Amvets.
He is survived by his two sons, Rodney Beechum Jr., of Fostoria, OH., Rance Beechum of Tiffin, OH., a granddaughter, Allyson Beechum of Fostoria, OH., his brother, Dan (Barb) Horn of Nashville, TN.
Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gary Horn and his sister, Patricia Wilson.
Graveside Services for Rodney will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 @ 2:30 PM at the Green Camp Cemetery with Pastor Dwight Hord officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 1 – 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
