Elizabeth Harbin, 82, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 3:15 a.m. in the Marion General Hospital.
She was born in Marion, Ohio on February 21, 1932 to Marion Elmer and Gladys Mae Fosnaugh.
Elizabeth married Robert L. Harbin in Marion, Ohio on January 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 15, 2006 in Orman Beach, Florida.
For 18 years she was employed at Turoff’s Restaurant. Elizabeth went on to own & operate the Bennett Street Party Store from 1972 until 1979 and later owned & operated the O.T. Tavern in Caledonia from 1983 until 1990 before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter; Patricia Harbin-DeWalt of Marion, Oh., 2 sons; Robert (Rhonda Kisor) Harbin of Marion, Oh. & James Scott (Phil Corrigan) Harbin of Columbus, Oh., 5 sisters; Mary Creviston of Upper Sandusky, Oh., Rose (Thurman) Mathews of Marion, Oh., Betty (Mike) Fogle of Osterander, Oh., Vicky (Jim) Lagos of Fl., and Laura (Don) Chizek of Celina, Oh., 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers & 3 sisters.
A memorial service will be held in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dan Kiger will be officiating and burial will be at a later date.
