Eula F. Hunt age 75 of Prospect, Ohio, passed away on Thursday August 28, 2014 at her residence.
She was born July 20, 1939 in Freeburn, Ky., to the late Hi Justice and Effie (Stevens) Ratliff.
On May 24, 1958 in Clintwood, Va., she married Ralph Hunt and he survives.
Eula was retired from Honda of America and also worked twenty plus years at the former Quaker Oats Company before it closed. She was a member of Oak Knoll Baptist Church and was a Godly Woman. Eula was a loving mother and a wonderful companion.
She leaves behind her husband as well as two sons; Randall (Margaret E.) Hunt, and Jeffrey (Ann) Hunt, both of Prospect, Ohio. Six grandchildren survive; Ralph A. (Amber) Hunt of Telarosa, New Mexico, Christopher Hunt of Prospect, Ohio, Edgar Hunt of Pittsburg, Pa., Sharon Hunt of Prospect, Ohio, Elizabeth (Sean) Hunt-Banks of Prospect, Ohio, Kellie (Nathaniel) Backer of Marion, Ohio, as well as eight great-grandchildren survive. One sister and two brothers also survive Eula; Carolyn Johnson of Paintsville, Ky., Hubert (Tracey) Justice of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donnie (Jean) Justice of Pikeville, Ky., and numerous nieces and nephews survive as well.
Besides her parents, Eula was preceded in death by a grandson, Edward Paul Hunt, a sister, Kay Ratliff, and two brothers; Glenn Justice and Ron Ratliff.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday September 3, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Oak Knoll Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Alan Miller. Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the Oak Knoll Baptist Church, 1007 Van Atta Ave., Marion, Ohio, on Tuesday September 2, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M.
