Hilda Armethia (Bicknell) Abrams Jackson of Marion passed away in Marion, Ohio on September 7, 2014. Hilda was born in Marion, Ohio on July 8, 1927 to James and India (Johnson) Bicknell.
Hilda worked at the Shovel Excavator, The Osgood, Marion Power Shovel and Dresser Industries before retiring. Hilda was a faithful member of the Salvation Army of Marion and served as the secretary at the church and the Women’s Home League for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, crocheting and art.
Hilda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Richard “Butch” Aldrich; grandchildren: Shelly (Nels) Radtke of Spokane, Washington and Heidi (Kirk) Ferchert of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; great grandchildren: Peyton Radtke and Kipton Ferchert; special friend and sister-in-law Mary J. Winters.
Hilda is preceded in death by her parents James and India Bicknell; husbands: Richard Abrams and Kenneth Jackson; daughter Kimberly Lynn Abrams; brothers: James, Cecil and Dick and her sister Josephine.
Memorial service will be held privately for the family.
