Linda Thompson, 62 of Richwood, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her home. She was born December 28, 1951 in Musselburgh, Scotland to Charles and Helen (Nisbit) Neil.
On October 25, 1976 she married Terry Allen Thompson in New Jersey and he survives in Richwood.
She was a homemaker who loved her grandkids and family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Christopher (Amy) Thompson, Richwood; a daughter, Lisa Butler, North Carolina; grandchildren, Logunn, Madison, Perry Thompson; Zach and Kain Butler; two brothers, Alex (Stephanie) Neil, Raymond; Charles (Tammy) Neil, Pennsylvania; and a sister, Liz Golden, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Stezlman.
A private family gathering will be held on Friday at Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home.
