Robert A. “Bobby” Gaines II, 38 of Marion passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 28, 2014.
He was born in Marion, Ohio to the late Robert A. Gaines and Frances E. Gaines of Marion who survives.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, swimming, biking, Ohio State Football and his beloved Steelers. He mostly cherished spending time with his sons.
He is survived by his three sons Jerimiah, Malachi and Jaden; two sisters, Christine Romine of Bucyrus, Kim (Steve) Reece of Marion; two brothers, Michael Gaines of Delaware, Ohio and Joshua Gaines of Columbus, Ohio; three nephews, Jesse Thacker Jr, of Marseilles, Seth & Trent Reece of Marion and one niece Sandra Kay Draper of Upper Sandusky and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Church, 251 N. Main Street, Marion 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 5, 2014 with Father Thomas Buffer presiding. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
