Thomas R. “Big Tom” Moore age 53 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at his residence.
He was born July 28, 1961 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Dorothy I. (Middaugh) Moore and later adopted when she married Frank Moore.
On September 27, 1985 he married Jill E. (Eiseman).
Thomas was a longtime resident of Marion where ha was a member of the Moose Lodge #889.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Moore of Marion, Oh., two sons, Tommy (Emily) Moore II of Marion, Oh., Ian (Jen Chesser) Moore of Marion, Oh., three granddaughters and expecting the fourth soon, his brother, Joe Cross of Tucson, Az., two sisters, Sharon (Willie) Hall of Mesa, Az., Pam (Darrell) Smith of Bucyrus, Oh., and his faithful companion his dog, Jasper Trueheart Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Cross.
A Celebration of Big Tom’s Life will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 3 – 5 PM where the family invites friends to share stories. The Boyd-born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
