Raymond E. Hush, SR., age 76, of Marion died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at his residence. Born on September 21, 1938, in Ironton, OH, he was a son to the late Cecil James and Mary Ellen (Gates) Hush.
In 1959 in married the former LaVerna B. Smith who preceded him in death in 2009; together they had two children, Martha and Raymond Jr. He served in the US Air Force retired from a long career at Eaton Manufacturing.
Raymond is survived by children, Martha E. Anderson (Aaron L. Barnette), Raymond E. Hush, JR., and David Hush; grandchildren, Brian (Andrea) Hush, David Hush, JR., Jeanne Hush-Kemp, Josh Rutherford, and Lisa Cordova; sister, Wanda Faye Kelley; great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Raymond was predeceased by daughter, Rowena Lynne Hush-Rutherford; eight siblings; and grandchildren, Jesse Anderson and Tommy Hush.
A special thanks to niece, Tracy Hush-Layne and her family for helping Raymond and his family.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors from 2 until 5 p.m. where funeral services will be held Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Elder Frank O’Bryant officiating.
