Wanda M. Coleman, age 72, of Marion passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sterling House of Marion.
She was born on December 11, 1941 in Marion, Ohio to the late Stanton and Irene (Bogenrife) Scowden.
Wanda married Charles Richard Coleman in Massillon, Oh. on November 18, 1978 and he preceded her in death on January 21, 1989 in Marion.
She was an avid quilter who turned out many beautiful works of art. Wanda retired in 2006 from the Fulfillment Corporation of America where she had been employed for over 25 years.
Surviving are a daughter; Nina (Ken) VanBrimmer of Delaware, Oh., a brother; Charles (Mary) Scowden of Marion, Oh., 3 nieces, 5 nephews, and many grand & great grand nieces and nephews. In 2003 she was preceded in death by a brother; Howard Scowden.
A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Craig Lewis on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. in the Glendale Cemetery, Cardington. No calling hours will be observed.
