Alberta M. Fitch age 91 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday November 4, 2014 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born August 23, 1923 in Marion to the late Charles and Mary Browning.
On June 29, 1940 she married Theodore R. Fitch, Sr. and he preceded her in death on December 20, 1987.
Alberta was retired from the former B.F. Goodrich company.
She loved cats and dogs and loved especially, her best friend, her dog Dolly. Alberta also loved the Holliday Season, Thanksgiving and Christmas. But, the one thing she loved the most was all of her grandchildren.
She will be missed by her two sons; Robert L. Fitch of Sun City Center, Fla., and Ronald L. Fitch of Marion, Ohio. She also leaves behind daughter-in-law, Pamela Fitch of Marion, Ohio, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and her close special friend of many years, Patti Worcester of Marion, Ohio.
Besides her parents and her husband, Alberta was preceded in death by a son, Theodore R. Fitch, Jr., one sister, four brothers, and a great grandson.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Joel Fetter. Burial will take place at a later date in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday two hours prior to the service from 4 to 6 P.M.
