Ann Fyffe, age 71, of Marion passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. at her residence.
She was born on June 15, 1943 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late Raliegh M. and Jettie (Miller) Oakley.
Ann married Dallas W. Fyffe on November 10, 1961 in Ironton, Ohio and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2002 in Marion, Ohio.
She was a member of American Legion Post 584 and a lifelong homemaker moving here in 1967 from Ironton, Ohio.
Ann is survived by her special companion of 5 years; Otis Britton of Marion, 1 son; Don R. (Shelley) Fyffe of Marion, Oh., 1 daughter; Gloria A. (Rick) Hall of Marion, Oh., 1 brother; Weldon Oakley of Sidney, Oh., 1 sister; Christine Oney of Sumter, S.C., 5 grandchildren; Bobby, Dallas (Kim), Amanda, Kayla, & Brandon, 6 great grandchildren; Alexandra, Katlyn, Colin, Savannah, Brooklyn & Lathan, and 3 step great grandchildren; Christopher, Devon, & Isabella.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 daughter; Christie Brown-Campo, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Pastor Bill Middleton will conduct the funeral service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
