Carl R. Mohr age 91 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at his son’s home.
He was born June 12, 1923 in Melmore, Ohio to the late Ralph and Louella (Correll) Mohr.
On August 13, 1942 he married Mildred M. (Collins) she preceded him in death on June 27, 1999.
He retired from Ohio Edison after 30 plus years of service and he was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church.
Carl is survived by his children, Terry Mohr of Marion, Tom (Susan) Mohr of Marion, Pam Harrah of Euless, Tx., 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, step-children, Barbara (John) Creeden and Beverly (Chris) Granger.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Pearl Mohr, daughter in law, Sandra Mohr, 3 brothers, Louie, Ralph Jr. and Pete, his sister, Yvonne and step-son, Ray Large.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 from 11 – 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Monday, November 17, 2014 at the funeral home with Ralph Velazco officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
