Charles “Fred” Parish age 73 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his residence.
He was born April 10, 1941 to the late LeRoy and Margie (Whitehill) Parish.
Fred was employed at the former B.F.Goodrich/Parker Hannifin for 43 years as the Supply Clerk, he was a member of American Legion Post #162 and VFW Post #7201.
He is survived by his son, Tim (Amanda) Parish of Bowling Green, Oh.,two grandchildren, Alexandra and Katherine, three brothers, Jim (Sue) Parish of Marion, Richard (Fern) Parish of Marion, Jack (Bev) Parish of Ashley, Ky., one sister, Jean (Tom) Rall of Navada, Oh., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother, Clara Belle, his brother, Robert Parish, two sisters, Ruth Waddell, Joan Milligan and his step sister, Donna Lobb.
A Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 from 6 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date.
