David Aaron Goon of Marion, age 77, born, March 27, 1937, passed from this life to his eternal home, November 14, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Geraldine Frances Goon, children; Connie Blevins, Charles (Tara) Goon, Coletta (Rev. James) Burns, David (Lisa) Goon, Dean (Valeta) Goon, ten grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Margaret Goon. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Viola Goon, 7 siblings, and son, Terry Goon.
Visitation with the family will be at Berean Baptist Church, 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, November 17, and, 10:00-11:00 am, Tuesday, November 18, followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 am. Reverends James Burns, , Marvin Jones, Chris Peria and Dr. Charles Reed will conduct the service. Burial following at Brush-Ridge Cemetery, Grand Prairie.
