Herman L. Richison, age 96, a former Marion resident passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014, in the Lakeland Regional Hospital, Lakeland, Florida.
He was born in Charleston, Arkansas on August 9, 1918 to Roy E. and Claudia N. (Colvard) Richison.
Herman married the former Ruthe J. Miller in Denver, Colorado on May 2, 1942 and she survives in Lakeland, Fl.
He served in the U.S.Army and worked as a commercial real estate salesman for over 20 years before his retirement.
Herman is survived by his wife; Ruthe and 2 daughters; Pam Richison & Patricia (James) Hughes both of Lakeland, Fl.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Matt Dahm will officiate and burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Military rites will be given by the Marion County Veterans Council.
