Johnny O. “Little Buddy” Brown age 62 of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday October 28, 2014.
He was born November 22, 1951 in Tallulah, La., to the late John and Lovell (Myles) Brown, Jr.
Johnny was a leader in life. He had a practical jokester side to him also, always playing jokes on someone. He liked nice cars and he was a really great grandfather. He dearly loved his grandkids.
Johnny leaves behind his wife, Marlene Brown. He also leaves behind a daughter, Laura Flewellen of Marion, Ohio and two sons; Christopher Brown of Akron, Ohio and Johnny Brown of Columbus, Ohio, as well as fourteen grandchildren survive. Johnny is also survived by five sisters and four brothers all of Marion, Ohio; Ruby (Allen) Jones, Linda Williams, Mary Brown, LaVonne Brown, Alice (Don) Boler, Willie (Carmela) Brown, James (Harnetha) Brown, David Brown, Marvin Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Green, a grandchild, two sisters; Lovalee Brown, Ollie Brown, and three brothers; Edward Brown, Roger Brown, and Donald Brown.
Funeral Services will be on Monday November 3, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Christ Missionary Baptist Church, 394 Fairview Ave. in Marion. Officiating the service will be Pastor Corredon Rodgers. Burial will follow in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday two hours prior to the service from 11 to 1 P.M.
