Lillie “Lill” Crum, 93, of Waldo and formerly of Ashley, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning November 11, 2014 at the Kingston Residence of Marion.
She was born November 27, 1920 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late W.C. Haynes and Goldie (Ratliff) Haynes.
Lill was a faithful member of the Waldo and Ashley United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine. She loved spending time with her family and she had worked at Kinsell’s Food in Cardington for almost 40 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Susan (Rick) Clunk of Radnor, OH; six grandchildren Ramona (David) Sowle, Ronalyn McCoy, Kara (Christopher) Cappello, Joshua (Samara), Emily and Nicholas Clunk; four great grandchildren David Jr., Matthew, Amber and Katelyn Sowle; three brothers Curtis Haynes of LaRue, OH, Clell Haynes of Trenton, MI and T.G. Haynes of Delaware, OH; three sisters Violet Mullins of Pikeville, KY, Dolly Harmon of Allen, KY and Roxie Mae James of Orman Beach, FL; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Thomas Crum, daughter Rosemary Crum and a brother Walter Haynes.
The family will receive friends on Thursday November 13th from 6 – 8 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 14th at 11:00 am at the Waldo United Methodist Church, 141 S. Marion Street, Waldo, OH with Rev. Raphael Valazco officiating. Burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery.
