Margaret L. Martin, age 84, of Marion passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 3:05 p.m. in the Marion General Hospital.
She was born on February 12, 1930 in Marion, Ohio to the late Paul C. and Opal (Saltzman) Snow.
Margaret was an avid Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes fan. She was a member of Moose Lodge #889 where she tended bar for many years.
Margaret is survived by a son; Thomas J. (Bonnie) Pierce of Marion, Oh., 5 grandchildren; Michelle Pierce, Tommy (Amy) Pierce, Amy (Tony) Risner, Heather (Denver) Cline, & Missy Pierce, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a special nephew; John Robinson, and special friends; Jan Gilley and Don & Sharon Peadon. She was preceded in death by a son; William “Budda” Pierce, a daughter; Vicky C. Pierce, a grandson; Terry Pierce, a brother; Paul Snow Jr., and 2 sisters; Mildred Ritchie & Ella Mae Robinson.
A memorial service will be held in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Russell Howard will be officiating and the family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date.
