Mary Esther Conroy, age 104, of Marion passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Marion Pointe Nursing Home.
Mary was born May 31, 1910 in Alliance, Ohio to Lawrence J. and Dora (Conrad) Lowther.
She was married to Russell Haines and then to Donald Conroy.
She was a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Citizens. She formerly worked for Taylor Air Craft, Murphy’s 5 & 10 Store, and for 30 years operated a cleaning service.
She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Renn of Marion; step son, David (Judy) Conroy; step daughters, Donna Bodman and Sally (John) Conway, grandchildren, Mark Haines, Christopher, Cameron (Lisa) Renn, Cassandra (Brandon) Lawson, Mike Conroy, Joan (Jamie) Stephen, Amie (Mike) Matosky, Julie Cooperider, Joe Conway, Kevin Conway, Meagan Conway and Maureen Cameron; great grandchildren, Halle and Harmony Renn, Colin Renn, Darcy and Devin Lawson, Erin and Mike Conroy, Demi Revmatos, Morgan Cooperider, Holdon and Aiden Cameron, and Natalie Stephen.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, son Albert Haines, son-in-law Richard Renn, and infant grandson Darcy Renn.
The family would like to thank the staff at Marion Pointe Nursing Home and Acclaim Hospice for the wonderful care provided to Mary.
A Funeral Service will be held 1PM, Friday, November 14, 2014 at Gunder/ Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Dr. Richard Farmer officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
