Mindy Wright Osborne, 37, of Cardington

Mindy Wright OsborneA cherished wife, mother, and dear friend to many, Mindy Wright Osborne, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 27, 2014. She was 37 years young and of Cardington.

On November 12, 1976, Mindy was born in Morrow County, the daughter of the late Robert A. “Buck” Cunningham and Teresa E. “Terry” Wright. She was raised in Mount Gilead by her beloved late grandmother, Ardath Wright, and attended Mount Gilead schools.

First and foremost in Mindy’s life, was being a loving and attentive mother to her four children. Whatever they were into and whatever they wanted to do was her first priority. She loved spoiling them, not telling them “no” very often.

For her loving husband, Andy, there is too much to say. He’s overwhelmed with love and admiration for Mindy. They shared 15 wonderful years together and were married on April 29, 2005.

Always keeping busy, Mindy enjoyed working on the home she and Andy were building together. She was an excellent cook and she enjoyed making crafts.

A gamer, Mindy could play video games for hours upon hours, she especially loved playing World of Warcraft.

Having a very caring heart, Mindy loved all children and was “Aunt Mindy” to most of them. She also loved helping seniors, and always rooted for the underdog. She had many close friends, all of whom knew they could turn to her for everything.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of nine years, Andy Osborne of Cardington, whom she married on April 29, 2005; her four children: PFC Ian Snyder, who is stationed in Korea, Allyson Snyder, Gregory Osborne and Zane Osborne, all three of Cardington; a sister, Amy Landis of Columbus; a brother, Frank Stephens of Delaware; mother and father-in-law: Sharon and Earnest Osborne of Cardington; her grandfather, Jim (Marie) Wright of Canal Winchester; four aunts: Julie (Terry) Cole of New Bloomington, Rose (Steve) Paver of Lehigh, FL, Gloria Cunningham, and Carol (Don) Holtrey, both of Mount Gilead; an uncle, Eric (Kathy) Wright of England; a sister-in-law, Deana Osborne; a brother-in-law, Michael Osborne, both of Cardington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will greet friends from 2 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 2nd, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead. Services honoring her life will also be held there at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, with Celebrant Don Lockwood officiating.

Memorial contributions may be to Brain and Behavior Research Center (https://bbrfoundation.org/) or Anxiety and Depression Association of America (http://www.adaa.org/) to help others struggling with depression. They may be sent to the care of the funeral home.
