Patsy L. Campbell, 82, of Marion passed away on Sunday morning, November 2, 2014, in her home.
She was born on November 28, 1931 in Caledonia, Ohio to Robert L. and Jenetta M. (Tomlin) Irey.
On September 11, 1959 in Marion, Ohio she married Dana J. Campbell and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2004 in Marion.
Patsy was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was a volunteer at the Marion General Hospital and the Palace Theatre.
Patsy was employed for 40 years as camp secretary with Modern Woodman and following her employment there, she had worked for the past 10 years at the Red Lobster Restaurant.
She is survived by 4 daughters; Terry (Bob) Lundquest of Marion, Oh., Susan (Rick) Sprinkle of Marion, Oh., Jackie (Tim) Smith of St. Marys, Oh., & Dana Campbell of Jacksonville, Fl., a stepson; Dale Campbell of Marysville, Ca., a stepdaughter; Laura Tsurdome of LaMesa, Ca., 1 sister; Peggy L. (Richard) Kennedy of Marion, Oh., 1 brother-in-law; Ron Campbell of Ormond Beach, S.C., 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 son; Steven Ray and 1 brother; Bobby Irey.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the First Church of the Nazarene on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Don Diehl officiating. Burial will follow in the Caledonia Cemetery.
