Schela K. Thompson age 51 of Prospect, Ohio, passed away on Saturday November 15, 2014 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born in Marion on December 12, 1962 to Martin and Mahalie (Howard) Moore. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives her and lives in Marion.
Schela was employed for the last thirteen years with Colonial Coin Laundry.
She had a big heart for all animals and she especially loved her deceased dog, Scooter. She loved to fish, but last but not least, she very much loved her two kids.
Besides her mother, she leaves behind her daughter, Malaya Thompson of Marion, Ohio, a son, Christopher Matthew Glass, II of Marion, Ohio, and also her companion of eight years, Timothy Hersman of Prospect, Ohio.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday November 19, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jerry Copley. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday November 18, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M.
