Lori A. Hoffman age 52 of Marion, Ohio passed away on Friday December 12, 2014 at the Marion General Hospital.
She was born June 7, 1962 in Marion to Jack E. Parish of Ashland, Ky., and Ruth (Allen) Lyon of Interlochen, Michigan.
On June 28, 1999 she married Michael J. Hoffman and he survives her.
Lori worked for ten years for the Whirlpool Corporation, then went to Meijer of Marion and has worked there for the last four years.
Lori was a past member of the Band Parents of Marion Harding High School and was like a second mom by many of the band members. She had a big heart and a sense of humor and will be missed by all. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her four dachshunds and two cats. They were also her kids. Lori was also a member of Curves for Women where she enjoyed time with her friends.
Besides her parents and her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Brittany (Howie) Hemminger and Tiffany (Aubrey Willhelm) both of Marion, Ohio; two grandchildren, Andrew Willhelm and Allisyn Hemminger; a brother J.R. (Bill Delaney) Parish of San Francisco, Ca; five step-sisters, three step-brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lori was preceded in death by her step-father, Paul Lyon, sister Terri Huggins, niece Jessica, and a Step-brother.
There will be calling hours for Lori on Thursday December 18, 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7 P.M. Burial will take place at a later date.
