Suzanne K. Carmichael age 73 of LaRue, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on September 2, 1941 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Cyril N. and WillElla S. (Stark) Miller.
On June 29, 1971 in Knoxville, Tn., she married Mead S. Carmichael, III and he survives.
Suzanne was retired from Verizon. She was of the Catholic faith. She very much loved her family and her cats. She also loved to to dance and sing and was involved with several civic choirs over the years.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Mike) Harris of Marion, Ohio, and two sons; Michael A. (Lisa) Lauinger of Grove City, Ohio and Martin S. (Julia) Carmichael of Marion, Ohio, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren survive. A sister, Lou Ann L. Wildey of Huntsville, Ala. also survives.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 10 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Deacon Earl McCurry. There will be a Graveside Burial Service at 12:30 P.M. also on Tuesday at the Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield, Ohio. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Monday December 29, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M.
There will also be a Celebration of Life Service on Friday January 2, 2015 from 1 to 3 P.M. at the American Legion Post #162 on Bellefontaine Ave. in Marion, Ohio.
