William “Hank” Miller, age 97, of Marion, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Heartland of Marion.
He was born in Delaware, OH to the late Wilbur and Cora (Ward) Miller.
William served in the Navy during WWII. Later, William retired from the Erie Railroad as a pipe fitter. After retirement, he enjoyed church activities, fishing, hunting, and building anything.
He is survived by son, William Lee (Melba) Miller of Marion, sister, Vera Bowman of Marion, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter, Patricia Ann Chelette, two brothers, and five sisters.
Friends may call Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors from 10AM until the time of service. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon with Rev. Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens where Military Honors will be conducted by Marion County United Veterans Council.
