It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to Charles E. Armbruster, age 79, of Marion. Chuck passed in the morning of January 5, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was surrounded by his son Mike and his longtime companion Patricia Black.
On September 27, 1935, Chuck was born to the late Clarence and Hattie Armbruster in Cambridge, Ohio. Chuck was a graduate of St. Benedict High School in Cambridge, Ohio. After graduating high school, he joined General Telephone & Electronics and held many positions before retiring in the 1990’s.
Chuck will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Nery Armbruster; along with two grandchildren: Kevin and Raiza, all of Dallas, Texas; he is also survived by four siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by four siblings.
A Memorial Mass in Chuck’s honor will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marion, Ohio, at a later date. Per Chuck’s wishes, he was cremated and no calling hours will be observed.
