David Morgan Hoskins, age 54, of Marion died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
David was born in Marion, Ohio on September 28, 1960 to Larren and Lydia (Gibson) Hoskins.
He graduated from Harding High School in 1978. He had numerous work positions throughout his life including maintenance supervisor, fabricator, welder, and auto body technician. He enjoyed playing horse shoes, bowling, and loved any motorized vehicle.
He is survived by his mother, Lydia Hoskins; brothers, Rodney (Rebecca) Hoskins, Ben Hoskins; sister, Regina (Josue) Feliciano all of Marion, OH., his sons, David (Jillian) Hoskins, Brandon Hoskins both of Logan, OH., Larren Hoskins of Dallas,TX.; and daughter, Brooke (Rob) Rigsby of Lancaster, OH.. He is also survived by two nieces, Stephanie Harless and Tausha Hoskins both of Marion, OH. and a nephew, Zachary Hoskins of Marion, OH.
David was preceded in death by his father, Larren Hoskins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. in the White Oaks Road Freewill Baptist Church on White Oaks Road. Rev. Danny Dickerson and Rev. Grover Caudill will be officiating and burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
