Donna M. Price, 67 of Ashley, died peacefully Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 17, 1947 in Marion County to the late Willard C. and Harriett (Hessler) Fassler.
On November 6, 1966 she married the love of her life, James Robert Price and he died July 29, 2009.
A 1966 graduate of Elgin High School, she was a cook for over 25 years with Buckeye Valley Schools. Before that, she had worked for many years at Sunray Stove Company in Delaware. She was a faithful member of Westfield Community Church. Donna enjoyed sewing, quilt-making and leatherworks and was very talented with her hands.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Tony) Heddleson, Ashley; two brothers, Williard (Billie) Fassler, Decliff; Clarence Edward (Pam) Fassler, LaRue; two sisters, Ruth Louise Beatty, Decliff; Linda Sue (Chuck) Lohr, Nevada; grandchildren, Jessica (Tim) Lucas; Robert Heddleson; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Heddleson; and Lane Abigail Lucas.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Westfield Community Church, 880 Co. Rd. 21, Ashley, Ohio 43003 with Rev. Lucian Baker officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM.
