Margaret Roseberry, age 74, of Marion, died at 5:00PM January 1, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Born December 14, 1940 in Columbus, OH, she was a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy Lane, sister, Phyllis Bibler, brother, John Lane; and her son, John Brant.
She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Roseberry, daughter, Barbara Schneider and step-daughter, Marni Stiles.
Margaret was the grandmother of five grandchildren, Holly Rose Schneider and Jacqueline Schneider of California, Stephen Schneider, Zayin Stiles, Kian Stiles, and Chayton Stiles all of Marion. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Benicio Montalvo, Jacob Gasmire, Donnati Bravatti, Divonni Bravatti, and Stephen Schneider II. She has a brother and sister-in-law Steven and Marilyn Roseberry, four nieces, Donna (Mike) Kvitko, JoAnn Arend, Kathy Cermack, Sheri (Jeff) Horn, three nephews, Thomas A. (Cindy) Rees of Circleville, James R. Bibler Jr. of Hilliard, Mark Hanschmidt of Colorado and several great-nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a retired registered nurse at the OSU Hospital and then later retired from DCSC in 2003. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Bereavement Committee as well as the 7201 VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Friends may call from 4 until 7PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, on Monday, January 5, 2015. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM, Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Thomas Buffer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
