Naomi Elaine Dunaway, 76, of Marion

Naomi Elaine Dunaway, age 76, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at 9:45 a.m. in her home.

She was born on February 11, 1938 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to Robert and Iva (Baughman) Leslie.

On June 22, 1956 she married Donald W. Dunaway in Newark, Ohio and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2014 in Marion, Ohio.

Naomi was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church. She was a seamstress for over 30 years and for 20 years she preformed custom embroidery for Dunaway Embroidery & Advertising.

She is survived by three son, Mike (Corinna) Dunaway of Bucyrus, OH., Tom (Margie) Dunaway of Marion, OH., & David Dunaway of Marion, OH.; two daughters, Debbie (John) Engle of Plain City, OH. & Karen (Jody) Hunt of Marion, OH.; two brothers, Jack (Lee) Leslie of Warrensburg, MO. & Richard (Pat) Leslie of Wapakoneta, OH.; two sisters, Nina Keith of Newark, OH, & Norma Jones of Pittsboro, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Engle.

Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. Pastor Jim Ogden will be officiating the funeral service in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery.
