Mary Elizabeth Davis age 73 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at the Marion General Hospital.
She was born July 1, 1941 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late James Henry Franklin and Margaret Beulah Mae (Fulk) Kelley.
On February 19, 1966 in Marion, Ohio she married James Garfield Davis and he preceded her in death in August of 2013.
Mary was retired from Ranco in Delaware, Ohio. She was a member of Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Marion. She loved to bake, especially cakes and she dearly loved her family and her dog, Milo.
Mary will be greatly missed by her daughter, Carolyn (Trevor) Adams of Marion, Ohio, her eight grandchildren; David, Chad, Jammie, Cathleen, Brandon, Heather, Spencer, Shandra, her numerous great grandchildren, and her brother, James “Woodie” (Sue) Kelley of Marion, Ohio.
Besides her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Kay Contreras, and two sisters; Betty and Barbara Ellen, and four brothers; Melvin, John, David, and Charles.
Funeral services will be on Monday March 2, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Floyd Radebaugh. Burial will follow in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday March 1, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
