Penelope S. “Penny” Taube age 64 of Marion, Ohio formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Genesis Presidential Center.
She was born October 28, 1950 in Marion, Ohio to Chester and Jewel (Gray) Taylor.
Penny was a member of Truth Ministries in Port Clinton where she loved being a Sunday School Teacher and loved helping people by being a Certified Respiratory Therapist for 38 years in Marion, Upper Sandusky and Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton.
She is survived by her mother, Jewel Taylor of Marion, her daughters, Jennifer Blackford Cole of Port Clinton, Stacey Blackford of Port Clinton, 8 grandchildren, Hannah, Christian, Katelyn, Cameron, Adam, Landon, Nate and Clayton, 2 great grandchildren, Carter and Braxton, two brothers, Patrick (Carole) Taylor of Marion, David (Nancy) Taylor of Florida, three sisters, Joyce Magi of Port Clinton, Leila Cook of Marion, Pamela Daniel of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.
Penny was preceded in death by her father, Chester Taylor, her brother, Paul “Corky” Taylor and her precious son, Mark Blackford.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5 – 9 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
