Robert Ernest Zinn age 61 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 12, 1953 in Marion, Ohio to the late Charles and Rosemary (Gibbs) Zinn.
On December 24, 1995 he married Peggy Ann (Carr).
Robert was employed at Model Home Furniture for 24 years and retired from Marion County Highway Department in 2012 after 12 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Zinn of Marion, his children, Robert Charles Zinn of Marion, Sharol Musick of Texas, Krista Metzger of North Carolina, step-daughter, Alicia Stull of Marion, 13 grandchildren, his sister, Carolyn Zinn of Marion, his brother, William Joseph Zinn of Marion and numerous friends that will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Metzger and his brother, Larry Zinn.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 15, 2014 from 2 – 5 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 16, 2015 at 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Ralph Valazco officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
