Dale E. “Eddie” Gregory, age 76, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 3:10 a.m. at his home.
He was born on January 27, 1939 in Marion County to the late James E. and Arline Gem (Branch) Gregory.
Eddie graduated from Morral High School in 1957 and was a member of the former Windouts Car Club of Marion Co.
On October 18, 1976 in Clintwood, Virginia he married the former Sharon L. Perry and she survives in Marion.
Eddie was employed for 8 years at Propst Supply Co., went on to work at Tecumseh Products for 19 years until their closing and finally retired in 2001 after 12 years working as a salesman for Fast Auto Parts.
He is survived by his first wife; Ruthella Jean (Foos) Gregory of Morral, OH., his current wife; Sharon L. Gregory of Marion, OH., a son; Douglas Gregory of Dayton, OH., two daughters; Rhonda (Scott) Arnold of Morral, OH. and Ardith Meddles of Marion, OH., a sister; Linda Lee (Rick) Sherer of Troy, OH., three grandchildren, Ty Arnold, Laken Meddles, & Canyon Meddles, a great grandchild, Rebel Arnold, and several nieces & nephews.
Eddie was preceded in death by a sister; Margaret Louise Tong.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held in the Marion Cemetery conducted by Chaplin Doug Ford.
