Diana Sue Miers, age 66, formerly of Green Camp, passed away late Tuesday evening at Heartland of Marion Care Center.
Born in Marion on September 2, 1948 to Forest and Esther (Rogers) Ganson, she married Daniel Miers on June 14, 1980 in Green Camp.
She enjoyed her life being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and was active with the Green Camp Senior Citizens. Diana also belonged to the Gold Panning Association of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Daniel and 2 sisters; Beverly Elam and Julia Seigfried. Surviving are her 3 daughters; Sherry Miers, Brenda (Joe) Lichtenberger and Tammy (Scott) Louck, her brother; Jerry (Carol) Ganson, her 3 sisters; Gloria Dickason, Charlotte (Lee) Walters and Carol (Steve) Cole and her 6 grandchildren; Jacob Lichtenberger, Kathryn Lichtenberger, Christopher Conrad, Benjamin Conrad, Michael Gage Louck and Daniel Chase Louck.
Friends may call Saturday at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of services at Noon. Private burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
