Katelynn Marie “Katie Bug” Fischer, age 9, of Marion, died peacefully early Thursday morning, April 2, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family.
On September 11, 2005, Katie was born in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of James R. Fischer and Tiffany N. (Pennington) Fischer.
A precious little angel, Katie had a smile and a laugh that warmed your heart and was unforgettable.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Tiffany Fischer of Marion; her father, James (Brittany) Fischer of Marion; a sister, Emily Fischer; two brothers: Preston and Parker Harbolt; maternal grandparents: Candace Guess, Tim Duffey and Ted Baer; paternal grandparents: Roger and Maggie Fischer, Dale and Jenny Ebert, and Curt and Judy Little; and many great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her family will greet friends from 10-11 am, on Saturday, April 4th, at the Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, 347 W. Center St., Marion. Services honoring her life will follow there at 11 am, with Chaplain Jed Brake officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
