Sally Sue Rhodes, age 72, of Marion passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015, at her residence.
She was born in Marion, Ohio on August 28, 1942.
Sally married James D. Rhodes on April 25, 1985 in Caledonia, Ohio and he survives in Marion.
She was a graduate of Marion Technical College with a degree in nursing. Sally was employed for 13 years with the Quaker Oats Co. until their closing and went on to work as a registered nurse with the Marion Manor Nursing Home for an additional 13 years, retiring in 2007.
Surviving along with her husband; Jim are four sons; Phil (Barb) Tomlin of Marion, OH., Doug Tomlin of Marion, OH., Bryan (Monica) Tomlin of Atlanta, GA., and Ty (Kathryn Onufrak) Rhodes of Atlanta, GA., seven grandchildren, and many close friends & family.
A memorial service will be held in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends following the service. Pastor Dwight Hord will be officiating.
