Shelba Jean Coykendall – Thomas, age 76 of Caledonia passed away Sunday evening April 5th at Signature Health Care Facility in Galion.
She was born on November 6th, 1938 in Caledonia as the daughter of Earl I. & Macel P. (Morrow) Caskey.
Shelba was a “Homebody” who enjoyed Flower and vegetable gardening. She attended Freedom Fellowship Church and have a love for all animals but especially chickens.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Larry & Robin Coykendall , Rick & Tina Coykendall of Marion, Keith & Cretia Coykendall of Breckinridge, TX and Amy & Wince Walters of Crestline. She leaves behind her eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She will also be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Roy & Donald Caskey of Caledonia, Ronald Caskey of Marion, Pam Blevins of Martel and Linda Bilger of Caledonia. She also leaves behind her special kids Billy & Jeff Caskey.
Shelba was preceded in death by a sister and her long time companion Billy Williams.
Funeral services for Shelba will be held at 2:00 on Thursday April 9th 2015 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Chris Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 until time of service.
