Barbara E.M. Brooks age 62 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born September 30, 1952 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late John “Sonny” Brooks and Willa J. (Reece) Anderson-Brooks.
Barbara was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was employed at General Motors as an inspector for 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Inez (Anthony) Adley of Arlington, TX., three grandchildren, Cartel Brooks, Trequan Adley, Marsul Adley, her partner in life, Richard Moncrease of Marion, OH., two brothers, Robert (Jeannette) Anderson of Marion, OH., Pat Brooks of Springfield, IL., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 from 11 – 12 noon at Mayes Community Temple Church of God in Christ, 801 Bennett St. Marion, Ohio Funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the church with Rev. Alexander Reece officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
