Christopher W. Wolford, age 31, of Morral, died unexpectedly on Friday evening, May 22, 2015, at Marion General Hospital.
On March 14, 1984, Chris was born in Marion, Ohio, the older of two children of Don and Joy (Imboden) Wolford. He graduated from Marion Harding High School.
A “character”…one of a kind, Chris should have been a comedian, as he could make anyone laugh. He also was a good artist, loved to draw anything and everything, and enjoyed painting cars.
He will be missed by his daughter, Katelynn Dawn Wolford; parents, Don and Joy Wolford of Morral; sister, Shelly Wolford of Marion; a nephew, Colton Whitaker; a grandfather, James Imboden of Piqua; a great-grandmother, Sola Meade of Morral; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alfred Bentley, Jean Bentley, and Joyce Nemeth.
His family will greet friends from Noon – 2 p.m. on Friday, May 29th, at the Marion Enterprise Baptist Church, 130 Orton St., Marion. Services honoring his life will follow there at 2 p.m., with Pastor Paul Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Little Sandusky Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with unexpected expenses.
