David Ray Clark age 54 of Marion, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Marion General Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born on December 25, 1960 in Marion, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Donna (Spears) Clark.
On June 1, 1997 he married his soulmate, Floran Ann Ritchie and she survives him.
David worked during his life at Rockwell, HPM and the most recent Star (Steam Turbine Alternative Resources) in Marion. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, father in law, brother in law, uncle and friend.
Besides his wife, he leaves behind one daughter, Robyn (Casey) Williams and two sons, Chris (Amanda) Baumgartner-Clark and Greg (Rose) Rasey all of Marion, six grandchildren and another on the way in 2016. As well as four brothers, Mark (Christy) Clark of Marion, OH., Stevan Clark of Mount Clemons, MI., John (Estelle Schiavo) Clark of Ormond Beach, FL., Dana Clark of Deland, FL., two sister in laws, Cheryl Clark of Delaware, OH., Lola Swidler of Marion, OH., brother in law, Shane Ritchie. In laws, Cloye and Kelvin Marshall of Marion, OH., also numerous nieces and nephews. He will be also be missed by his best friend for over 20 years, Andy Cole and many other dear friends.
David was welcomed home in Heaven not only by his parents, but also by a brother Andrew “Andy” Clark, who preceded him in death.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses in ICU at Marion General who took care of him and the family.
Per David’s request there will be no services. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
