Laura R. Carpenter, age 85, of Marion passed away at her home following a long illness on May 25, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Jim and her son; Jim Jr., both of Marion.
Laura is survived by her sisters; Ann Kleman, Marjorie Sharples and Elizabeth Kaback, her daughter; Nitalu and her grandsons; Adam and Joshua Sroka.
In keeping with Laura’s wishes, her earthly remains have been donated to the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Since friends and family are scattered far and wide, please remember her where you are, in your own personal way and feel the spiritual connection of us all.
Also, in lieu of flowers or cards, please honor Laura by choosing a non-political cause that is local and dear to you and dedicate an act in her memory; donate a bag of dog food to the shelter or food to the food bank or drive a neighbor on an errand. Laura liked to help people so please honor her memory by paying it forward.
