Marilynn C. Bell, age 69, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 3:00 PM in the Marion General Hospital.
She was born on January 2, 1946 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to the late Nelson and Dorothy (Peltier) Chalfant.
Marilynn married James R. Bell in Marion, Ohio on March 30, 1968 and he survives.
She had been employed for various companies as an administrative secretary including The Fahey Bank, Floyd Browne & Associates, and the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center.
Surviving along with her husband; Jim are three daughters; Stephanie (Richard) Murphy of Westerville, OH., Julie Cummins of Marion, OH., and Amy (Justin) Hill of Marion, OH., a brother; Lynn (Carol) Chalfant of Lufkin, TX., two sisters; Valerie Holtz of Lemon Grove, CA. and Sharon Boger of Cardington, OH., and nine grandchildren; Brison, Devin, Rileigh, Seth, Noah, Jacob, Bella, Jocelyn, & Michaela.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday, May 17, 2015, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Pastor Adam Sornchai will conduct the funeral service on Monday at 11:00 AM in the St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5070 Newmans-Cardington Rd. East, Cardington,OH. Burial will be at a later date.
