Sharon Marie Massie age 67 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Presidential Center of Marion.
She was born April 14, 1948 in Marion to the late Elmer and Goldie A. (Holback) Massie.
Sharon was retired from Whirlpool Corporation after nine years and also spent twenty-five years with the former MedCenter Hospital.
Sharon is survived by her partner of thirty-two years, Michael Davis and a daughter, Molly Elizabeth Massie, both of Prospect, Ohio. Also surviving are two sisters; Carolyn (Richard) Bonness and Linda (Gary) Thompson, both of Marion, Ohio, and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother, Frederick Massie.
There will be a Graveside Service with burial to follow on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. at the Marion Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dwight Hord. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 A.M.
The family would like to give special thanks to nieces; Tina Chamblin, Jennifer Thompson, Amber Keller, Hospice and the Chaplain.
