Teresa K. “Terri” Gardner, age 66, of Marion died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 5:25 p.m. in the Marion General Hospital.
Terri was born on September 6, 1948 in Marion, Ohio to the late Arthur and Sybil (Detwiler) Glassmeyer.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Alan W. Gardner, whom she married in Kirkpatrick, Ohio on November 29, 1969.
She is also survived by two daughters; Kristin K.Gardner and Jennifer A. Gardner both of Marion, OH., two brothers; Arthur (Kay) Glassmeyer of Texas and James (Diane) Glassmeyer of Marion, OH., and a sister; Sharon (Howard) Feador of Florida.
Terri was a retired employee of the Meijer Store and the Purex Co. She attended the Emanuel Baptist Church in Marion and previously attended the Mt. Vernon Avenue Church of Christ. Terri was devoted to her family & friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, 2015, from 4;00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Ronald Douglas at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening with burial to follow at a later date.
