Thomas L. Hoover, age 72, of Marion passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at 10:59 p.m. in his home.
He was born on March 29, 1943 in Ashland, Ohio to Orlo L. and Elvira A. (Rees) Hoover.
On March 9, 1965 in Marion, Indiana Thomas married the former Diana L. Wardrip and she survives in Marion.
He was a member of the Central Christian Church.
Tom was employed as an engineer with the C&O Railroad for 20 years. He went on to operate his own business with his wife, Hoover’s Custom Woodworking, and later retired in 2008 as a custodian with the Ridgedale Local School System after 8 years of service.
Surviving along with his wife; Diana are two daughters; Lori Hudson of Marion, OH. and Lisa Osterloh of London, OH., a brother; Jack (Serena) Hoover of Lenexa, KS., and four grandchildren; Marissa Osterloh, Connor Osterloh, Devin Vansky, and Colton Meadows.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. A private graveside will conducted by Pastor Dwight Hord on Friday in the Marion Cemetery.
