Nancy Braham Severns, the oldest of three children, born to Irwin “Mike” Braham and Mary L. Braham on June 10, 1949 passed on June 13, 2015. Nancy attended Ridgedale High School and graduated in 1969. Nancy Severns was born, raised, and will now be laid to peace in Marion Ohio.
Nancy worked at Fulfillment, Bargain City, L & K, and retired from Whirlpool. It was while working at Whirlpool where she met and married her husband Wayne Severns who preceded her in death January 6, 2014. Also preceding her in death, her father, I.A. “Mike” Braham, and her brother Mike Braham.
Nancy’s spirit will be carried on by the family she loved and admired so much, her beloved son Michael D. Malone, (California), her mother, Mary Braham (Marion) her sister, Mary B. Riegle (Dublin) and her stepsons, John Severns and Greg Severns. Nancy Severns was also blessed to have been survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, loving friends, and her dog Sadie.
Nancy loved everyone as though they were her own family. She spent many hours providing laughter and comfort to those who both wanted, and needed, to share a beautiful moment or a difficult time. Nancy Severns held a firm belief in God and practiced her faith at home and Fairpark Baptist Community Church. Her warmth and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The funeral will be held at GUNDER FUNERAL HOME with visitation on Wednesday June 17 from 4-7pm and the funeral on Thursday June 18 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow the service at Chapel Heights Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to Fairpark Baptist Community Church, following the interment, to celebrate Nancy’s life.
