Franklin C. “Frank” Carmon age 59 of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Monday, July , 2015 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis and COPD.
He was born May 14, 1956 in Ironton, Ohio to Franklin B. and Wilma J. (Phillips) Carmon.
On March 14, 1976, he married Kathy A. Shepherd.
Frank was employed at Whirlpool Corporation for 30 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, was loved by all, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy A. Carmon of Marion, his mother, Wilma J. Carmon of Ironton, OH, loving son and very special daughter-in-law, Adam (Brandy) Carmon of Marion, his daughter and princess, Monica Carmon of Marion, eight grandchildren; Hali (Sean) Tomblin, Brock Matteson, Nicole Carmon, Adam Carmon, Jr., Kimberly Carmon, Blake Carmon, Aaron Zamer, Jr., Zachary Zamer, a very, very loved great-granddaughter, Kylee Marie Tomblin, two brothers; Wayne Carmon of Mt. Gilead, OH, and Larry (Joy) Carmon of Florida, two sisters; Beverly McCarty of Florida, and Rhonda Carmon of Pedro, OH, special sister-in-law, Penny Lewis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Franklin B. Carmon and three brothers, Adam Carmon, Jerry Carmon, and David Carmon.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 from 10AM to 1PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Carmon officiating. Burial will take place at Marion Cemetery following the service.
